How it works

From invoice to verified payment.

VerseBill turns an invoice into a payment link, and then proves the payment happened. No spreadsheets, no guessing whether a transfer cleared.

  1. Step 1

    Merchant creates an invoice

The merchant enters the customer, line items, and amount, then publishes the invoice.

  2. Step 2

    VerseBill generates a payment request

VerseBill creates a unique, non-guessable payment link that the merchant can share.

  3. Step 3

    Customer reviews the payment details

The customer sees the amount, merchant, network, and recipient address before paying.

  4. Step 4

    Customer connects and signs

The customer connects a wallet (embedded or external) and signs the VERSE transfer.

  5. Step 5

    Transaction is submitted on Polygon

The transfer is broadcast to Polygon PoS, the network VerseBill payments run on.

  6. Step 6

    VerseBill verifies the transaction on-chain

The backend confirms the transaction exists, succeeded, and matches the invoice's token, recipient, and amount.

  7. Step 7

    Invoice is marked as paid

Only after successful verification does the invoice transition to paid.

  8. Step 8

Merchant receives a verifiable payment record

The merchant gets a permanent on-chain proof with the transaction hash and explorer link.
